The Cunningham Cup named after one of the founders of Newry Pool League.
This Competition is an open Competition across all Divisions.
Three singles followed by three pairs games and finally three singles.

This season : Players who know the rules can explain to their team mate or reply to a question without giving a specific shot.
General Rules:
PAIRS TEAM KNOCKOUT
Vadio Pairs Team Competition.
🔴 All matches 9 games (first to 5).
🔴 All games are doubles, (pairs)
🔴 Players can talk to each other.
🔴 12 minutes per game by clock -
🔴 1 minute rule applies.-
🔴 No triple AAA player can play more than 2 times.
🔴 Non triple AAA players can play no more than 3 times.
🔴 No player can play with same partner more than once.
🔴 Lag once at start but if 12 minute timer goes on a game it is a lag to see who has a choice on the black.
🔴 There is no handicap in this Competition.
🔴 So AAA can pair with another AAA but total games AAA players can play in is 6! (if they play as a pair, that is 2 of the 6 gone)

Charity Cup boils down to how many points a team accumulates. As teams drop out of other cups etc they will get more chances to gain points than teams playing the same night and still in the Open cups. This is to help teams that are not winning in the open cups.
Teams that qualify for league playoffs and finals of other cups will be replaced by the team below them on points.
